Excerpt from Twilight’s Spell
Logan’s eyes roamed over me, and I perceived a great need. For what, I wasn’t sure. His eyes glowed, and his skin gleamed. Then he tipped my head to the side and gazed at my bare neck. If I’d had any doubt about what he was, it was put to rest when he leaned closer.
His lips curled back, and he snarled, “Your scent…it’s driving me crazy.” His breath grazed my cheek, subduing me. Then his mouth opened, and his fangs protracted. I was at the mercy of this awe-inspiring creature, and yet didn’t fight to get free of his grasp.
